Privacy at a glance
The short version of where Spekko™ keeps your things, what leaves your computer, and how to take it back.
What stays on your computer
- Your conversations, memory, skills and routines.
- Moments, and the frozen copies of what you loved.
- Your keys, in your computer's own secure store.
- The copy he makes before an update, and his health check.
What leaves it, and why
- To think: the part of a conversation he's working on goes to the AI service you've connected.
- To speak: what he says on a call goes to his voice service.
- Between your devices: messages pass through Spekko's relay, encrypted end to end. The relay can't read them and doesn't keep them.
- Notifications: if you allow them, a short line about what needs you goes through Spekko's notification service to Apple, which delivers it to your iPhone. Nothing is kept on the way.
- Calls and texts: through the phone provider you connect in your own account. Texting is never included; your provider bills you.
What never happens
- We don't keep a copy of your memory or chats.
- We don't sell your information or use it for ads.
- He never stores passwords or card numbers.
- Nothing that spends, sends, posts or deletes happens without your yes.
You're in charge
- Forget anything, any time; it's really deleted. Forget a moment and its frozen copy goes too.
- Export everything to a file on your computer. Tokens and keys are never in it.
- Delete everything when you want a clean start.
- Remove a device and it's cut off at once.
- Turn off the morning brief or notifications in Settings.
